Company Profile
INDEPENDENT
ADJUSTMENT COMPANY was formed in October 1989 to provide the insurance
community with a full service property and casualty adjusting and investigating
facility.
At the request of our clients, we have expanded our service
area to include the continental United States, as well as Alaska and Hawaii
when needed. We have adjusters in over 385 locations, with additional locations
being added as needed.
Our Corporate office, located at 22 West Main Street P.O. Box
1036 Patchogue, New York 11772 , accepts losses throughout the United States,
from where they are assigned to our field adjusters. John Kiernan or I, personally
review each report prior to its being sent to the company adjusters. A mirror
file is maintained in our Patchogue, New York corporate headquarters. In that
way, clients have only to call one person to direct their inquiries to should
they desire. This eliminates telephone tag with our field adjusters.
In July 1997, R. E. Yackel Adjustment Company Became part
of our family. Their staff and office in Marcellus (Syracuse), New York, establishes
an additional New York claims office for us. I, as well as John, maintain
24/7 availability for claims adjustments. In this way, the East / West coast
time disparity is eliminated. After hour emergency claims can be responded
to as well. We maintain all the current available technology, including computerized
estimating and building cost valuation software, as well as Email capabilities.
Our firm, with highly experienced property, casualty, fidelity,
ocean and inland marine adjusters is capable of providing your company with
the high level of expertise required to address all your claim needs, throughout
the United States.
